Q: Do I need to be Buddhist to meditate or to visit a meditation retreat?

A: Absolutely not. Meditation is an ancient practice that is free from attachment to any religion, culture or philosophy. Our classes at N.A.T.U.R.E. are accessible to everyone who is willing to put in the work.

Q: Can I attend a retreat if I don’t know how to meditate?

A: Yes. We are here to teach you if you are willing to learn.

Q: Do I have to sit cross legged to meditate?

A: Meditation can be done sitting in a chair, standing or walking. The primary component that you need is mindfulness, or focus and concentration.  We can teach you how to strengthen both.
