The Meditation Not Incarceration Program seeks to serve our incarcerated brothers and sisters through distance meditation education instruction. Through weekly calls, in addition to material handouts and books mailed to them, these students will have the opportunity to markedly decrease their stress levels and win the battle against depression. With the added tool of meditation, they will be better equipped to unpack, confront and dismantle the ailments they have acquired as a result of trauma due to imprisonment – as well as any traumas they may have experienced prior to incarceration.

After completion of the instruction program, upon their release, select students will be offered a resident internship at the Center.
