Transcendental meditation is a form of Bhakhti yoga – mantra yoga or chanting yoga. While in traditional Transcendental Meditation, a person is given a special mantra by a guru. In Transcendental Meditation 2.0, the practitioner is taught how to develop their own mantra.

Transcendental Meditation uses a special sound or mantra to progressively calm the mind. This brings the mind to a subtler state of awareness until the root cause of our thoughts are reached.
